Hi, I’m Lauren!
I am the owner + lead designer of Woven Blooms. Trained as a visual artist, I love working with flowers as my medium. I received my BFA with a concentration in textiles from VCU before moving on to a MLA from BSU. I express my intrigue with nature by marrying different shapes, textures, and colors; enhancing the natural artfulness of each stem. Blending my background in textiles and landscape design, I employ locally and domestically grown blooms to build seasonally inspired floralscapes that enhance the natural surroundings of any venue.
My Commitment: With how harsh the floral industry can be on the environment, I am committed to a more eco-friendly approach to floristy by limiting the amount of floral foam consumed in my art, compost as much waste material as possible, and source as many locally grown flowers as possible. Being active in the local and national flower farming community is important to me and I vow to grow more of her own blooms each year.
